FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR CENTRAL/EASTERN AND SOUTHEASTERN IL
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE LINCOLN IL
300 PM CDT FRI MAR 27 2015

.DISCUSSION...

AS HIGH PRESSURE SETTLES ACROSS THE MIDWEST...MOSTLY SUNNY SKIES AND
LIGHT EAST WINDS ARE ON TAP FOR SATURDAY. HOWEVER...THIS WILL LEAD TO
LOW VENTILATION RATES FOR ANY BURNING ACTIVITIES. WINDS WILL QUICKLY
BECOME SOUTHERLY SATURDAY NIGHT AND INCREASE AHEAD OF A FAST MOVING
STORM SYSTEM...WHICH WILL SWEEP ACROSS THE STATE SUNDAY MORNING.
THIS WILL BRING RAIN SHOWERS...WHICH MAY BE MIXED WITH SOME SNOW
NORTHWEST OF THE ILLINOIS RIVER EARLY IN THE DAY. SOUTHWEST WINDS
WILL BECOME WESTERLY IN THE AFTERNOON ONCE THE FRONT PASSES.
