National Weather Service Lake Charles LA
329 PM CDT Tue Mar 28 2017

.DISCUSSION...
Breezy southerly winds will continue through the night as
a low pressure area across western Texas deepens and
approaches from the west. Thunderstorm activity will
increase Wednesday afternoon across southeast Texas
gradually spreading east into southwest Louisiana overnight.
Some of these storms will have the potential to be severe.
The cold front will push through the area Thursday morning
giving way to mostly clear skies and lighter westerly winds.
Mostly sunny skies and tranquil conditions will prevail Friday
and Saturday before rain chances increase again ahead of the
next weather system expected to impact the area Sunday.
