BRIEF ELEVATED CONDITIONS WILL CONTINUE THIS AFTERNOON AND EARLY
EVENING MOSTLY FOR AREAS OFF THE CAPROCK. TEMPERATURES WILL
FURTHER WARM ON WEDNESDAY WITH MORE WIDESPREAD BREEZY WINDS. WINDS
AT THE 20 FOOT LEVEL ARE ANTICIPATED TO BE BETWEEN 15-20 MPH AREA
WIDE AND WHEN COMBINED WITH VERY WARM TEMPERATURES WILL CREATE
ELEVATED FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS. INTERMITTENT RED FLAG CONDITIONS
WILL BE POSSIBLE BUT ARE NOT EXPECTED TO BE SUSTAINED FOR A LONG
PERIOD OF TIME. A COLD FRONT WILL MOVE THROUGH THURSDAY MORNING
SHIFTING WESTERLY WINDS TO THE NORTH WITH COOLER BUT STILL ABOVE
SEASONAL AVERAGE TEMPERATURES.
