.DISCUSSION...An upper trough will gradually move inland today
and will bring additional thunderstorms to the area. Isolated
storms are possible this morning then thunderstorm coverage will
increase this afternoon and evening across inland areas. The focus
for thunderstorms is expected to be from the Siskiyous and western
slopes of the Cascades eastward. However isolated to scattered
storms are also expected over western valleys in Jackson and eastern
Josephine county as well into western and central Siskiyou county.
In addition, gusty west winds will develop today as the system
moves through with strongest winds expected east of the Cascades.
Relatively mild and quieter weather is expected Tuesday through
late this week.
