FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR UPPER MICHIGAN
National Weather Service Marquette MI
552 AM EDT Tue May 23 2017

...Chances for showers this week but rain amounts stay light...

.DISCUSSION: A low pressure trough from Wisconsin to lower
Michigan will produce scattered rain showers over the western
interior of Upper Michigan, with the greatest coverage in
the afternoon. Another low pressure system over the Ohio Valley
tonight will slowly lift across the lower Great Lakes through
Thursday bringing more scattered rain showers, mainly over
eastern Upper Michigan. Rain amounts through Thursday will
be light. Yet another low pressure system will bring more
rain showers Friday into the weekend. Daytime high temperatures
will remain below normal most of this week but could reach
slightly above normal in the upper 60s to lower 70s Friday
into Saturday away from the Great Lakes shores.
