.DISCUSSION...

Chances for showers will linger mainly in the northern Plateau region
today, but drier conditions will move in today through Friday. Min RH
values will bottom out Friday afternoon and look to be in the 40 to
50 percent range, so well below critical fire wx thresholds. Winds
will be strong this afternoon, especially areas east of I-65, where
sustained westerly winds of 15 to 20 mph and gusts up to 30 mph will
be possible. Winds should calm down after sunset this evening.
