Fire Weather Planning Forecast FOR S Cntrl and Sern Colorado
National Weather Service Pueblo Co
402 AM MST Sun Feb 19 2017

.Discussion...

The mountain areas will see showers today and this evening, with the
best chances along the Continental Divide, where several inches of
snow can be expected. The lower elevations may see some isolated
showers this afternoon and evening. Breezy to windy conditions can
be expected over the southeast plains today. Dry weather is expected
Monday and Tuesday. Showers can be expected over the Continental
Divide on Wednesday, and many areas will have breezy westerly winds.
The southeast plains may have high fire danger Wednesday afternoon
as a result of the breezy conditions and low humidities. Above average
afternoon high temps can be expected today through Wednesday. Showers
can be expected over the mountains on Thursday, and over portions of
the southeast plains, along with cooler temperatures.

Smoke dispersion is expected to be good or very good over the mountains
and high valleys this afternoon, with excellent dispersion elsewhere.
Monday afternoon most locations should have good or very good smoke
dispersion.
