...DISCUSSION FROM RNOFWFVEF...

BELOW NORMAL TEMPERATURES WILL CONTINUE INTO THE WEEKEND. THE NEXT
STORM SYSTEM IS EXPECTED ON THURSDAY INTO FRIDAY. THIS SYSTEM WILL
BRING GUSTY WINDS TO THE REGION THURSDAY AS WELL AS RAIN AND SNOW TO
PORTIONS OF THE AREA. RHS WILL REMAIN ABOVE CRITICAL LEVELS DURING
THIS EVENT, BUT GUSTY WINDS COULD RESULT IN ENHANCED FIRE BEHAVIOR.
ACTIVE WEATHER WILL CONTINUE WELL INTO NEXT WEEK.

...DISCUSSION FROM LAXFWFSGX...

A COLD NORTH FLOW PATTERN WILL CONTINUE WITH A SMALL CHANCE OF
LIGHT SHOWERS AT TIMES INTO EARLY FRIDAY. TEMPERATURES WILL REMAIN
BELOW AVERAGE AND ONSHORE FLOW WILL KEEP SOME MARINE INFLUENCE OVER
THE AREA. WEAK OFFSHORE FLOW WILL BRING DRY AIR INTO THE REGION
FRIDAY THROUGH THE WEEKEND, BUT WINDS WILL BE RATHER LIGHT. ONSHORE
FLOW RETURNS NEXT WEEK LEADING TO THE NEXT CHANCE OF SHOWERS AND
ONSHORE WINDS.

...DISCUSSION FROM PHXFWFPSR...

A LARGE AREA OF LOW PRESSURE WILL REMAIN IN PLACE ACROSS THE DESERT
SOUTHWEST TODAY THROUGH THE END OF THE WORK WEEK. ALTHOUGH THIS WILL
BE A RATHER DRY SYSTEM IT WILL SERVE TO KEEP HIGH TEMPERATURES WELL
BELOW SEASONAL NORMALS EACH DAY. MINIMUM RH VALUES WILL BE LOW
TODAY, MOSTLY BETWEEN 10 AND 20 PERCENT OVER THE DESERTS. HUMIDITY
WILL INCREASE THURSDAY AS MINIMUM RH VALUES CLIMB 5 TO 15 PERCENT
AREA WIDE; HIGHEST VALUES WILL BE IN FAR SOUTHEAST CALIFORNIA WHERE
THEY WILL RANGE BETWEEN 25 AND 35 PERCENT. EXPECT VERY LIGHT WINDS
TODAY; ON THURSDAY THEY WILL INCREASE AND BECOME BREEZY TO WINDY
FROM THE SOUTHWEST, ESPECIALLY ACROSS FAVORED HIGHER TERRAIN
LOCATIONS OF FAR SOUTHEAST CALIFORNIA.
