...DISCUSSION FROM RNOFWFVEF...

FOR THE UPCOMING WEEK, DRY WEATHER CAN BE EXPECTED FOR THE MOJAVE
DESERT WITH TEMPERATURES PEAKING WELL ABOVE NORMAL TUESDAY AND
WEDNESDAY BEFORE DROPPING ABOUT TEN DEGREES BY FRIDAY. A WEAK
DISTURBANCE WILL PRODUCE SLIGHT CHANCES FOR AFTERNOON AND EVENING
THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS THE SOUTHERN SIERRA AND SOUTHERN GREAT BASIN
WEDNESDAY, ALONG WITH GUSTY SOUTHWEST TO WEST WINDS FOR THE MOJAVE
DESERT WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH THURSDAY.

...DISCUSSION FROM LAXFWFSGX...

HOT AGAIN TUESDAY EXCEPT NEAR THE COAST DUE TO A SHALLOW MARINE
LAYER. COOLING WILL SPREAD INLAND ON WEDNESDAY AS HIGH PRESSURE
ALOFT WEAKENS. GREAT COOLING THURSDAY AND FRIDAY WITH A DEEPENING
MARINE LAYER. IT WILL ALSO TURN WINDY IN THE MOUNTAINS AND DESERTS
THURSDAY AND FRIDAY AS A TROUGH PASSES BY TO THE NORTH. A FEW LIGHT
SHOWERS ARE POSSIBLE FROM THE COAST TO THE COASTAL SLOPES LATE
THURSDAY NIGHT INTO FRIDAY MORNING. HIGH PRESSURE ALOFT WILL BRING
AN INLAND WARMING TREND FOR THE HOLIDAY WEEKEND.

...DISCUSSION FROM PHXFWFPSR...

HEAT WILL BE A CONCERN THE NEXT FEW DAYS AS TEMPERATURES RISE 5 TO
10 DEGREES ABOVE NORMAL. WINDS WILL BE RELATIVELY LIGHT THROUGH
TUESDAY WITH AFTERNOON WEST WINDS RANGING FROM 5 TO 15 MPH. WIND
SPEEDS INCREASE ACROSS THE REGION WEDNESDAY. SOUTHEAST CALIFORNIA
AND SOUTHERN GILA COUNTY WILL SEE THE STRONGEST WINDS, WITH
AFTERNOON WESTERLIES GUSTING TO NEAR 20 TO 30 MPH. RH MINIMUMS WILL
FALL INTO THE SINGLE DIGITS FOR THE LOWER DESERTS EACH AFTERNOON
WHILE OVERNIGHT RECOVERIES WILL RANGE FROM 20 TO 35%.
