...DISCUSSION FROM RNOFWFVEF...

GUSTY WEST WINDS ON MONDAY WILL TRANSITION TO BREEZY NORTH WINDS
WITH GUSTS AROUND 30 MPH ON TUESDAY WITH AFTERNOON HUMIDITIES 10 TO
20 PERCENT. DRY AIR REMAINS IN PLACE WITH SIMILAR OR LOWER HUMIDITY
ON WEDNESDAY, THOUGH GENERALLY CALMER WINDS FOR MOST OF THE DAY
BEFORE PICKING BACK UP WEDNESDAY EVENING AND THURSDAY. WINDS GUSTING
OVER 35 MPH AND HUMIDITY FALLING TO AT OR BELOW 10 PERCENT LOOK TO
INCREASE FIRE DANGER FOR THE END THE WEEK.

...DISCUSSION FROM LAXFWFSGX...

A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM MOVING INLAND TO THE NORTH TODAY WILL BRING
STRONGER ONSHORE FLOW WITH STRONG GUSTY WEST WINDS IN THE MOUNTAINS
AND DESERTS...INLAND COOLING...AND A MARINE LAYER DEEPENING TO
AROUND 3000 FEET DEEP. SLIGHTLY WARMER ON TUESDAY WITH GREATER
WARMING AND WEAKER WINDS ON WEDNESDAY UNDER HIGH PRESSURE ALOFT. A
TROUGH OF LOW PRESSURE MOVING SOUTHEASTWARD THROUGH THE GREAT BASIN
WILL BRING STRONGER ONSHORE FLOW FOR THURSDAY NIGHT AND FRIDAY WITH
COOLING...FOLLOWED BY WEAKER OFFSHORE FLOW FOR SATURDAY WITH WARMING
FOR NEXT WEEKEND AS HIGH PRESSURE STRENGTHENS OFF THE WEST COAST.

...DISCUSSION FROM PHXFWFPSR...

STRONG, DRY WEST TO NORTHWEST FLOW ALOFT CONTINUES TO SPREAD ACROSS
THE REGION TODAY AND TUESDAY RESULTING IN BREEZY WIND CONDITIONS.
MINIMUM RELATIVE HUMIDITIES WILL DROP TO NEAR 10 PERCENT WITH
MARGINAL OVERNIGHT RECOVERY. ON MONDAY, WINDS WILL PEAK IN SOUTHEAST
CALIFORNIA WITH GUSTS UP TO 30 MPH. ON TUESDAY, THE WINDS WILL BE
EVEN STRONGER OVER THE CENTRAL DESERTS TO INCLUDE MUCH OF MARICOPA
COUNTY. WEDNESDAY LOOKS TO BE THE DAY WITH THE LOWEST FIRE WEATHER
CONCERNS AT THIS TIME. TEMPERATURES WILL GRADUALLY BECOME COOLER
THROUGH THE WEEK.
