.DISCUSSION...
A colder, windier and wetter weather period will begin today
lasting through the weekend for the burn site. West to southwest winds
will be breezy to windy today as a Pacific front pushes through the
area. Shower and thunderstorm chances will develop near the burn
site this afternoon following the front. Expect additional gusty and
erratic winds near the site from nearby thunderstorms. Winds will
turn northernly around sunset after passage of the Pacific front but
a back door cold front will invade the area before midnight.
Gusty north to northeast winds with shower and thunderstorm chances will
persist overnight into Saturday. Temperatures will trend below
normal today lasting through early next week. Overnight lows will
plummet to freezing values Saturday night. Look for excellent relative
humidity recoveries with good to excellent vent rates today and Saturday.
A drier and warmer pattern will return early next week.
