Spot Forecast for Fremont River Slash Piles
National Weather Service Salt Lake City UT
837 AM MST Wed Feb 21 2018

.DISCUSSION...A weak wave is transitioning into the area today,
but will not impact operations outside of a few mountain snow
showers possible this afternoon. Light winds at the surface and
aloft paired with low mixing heights will result in poor clearing
values today, and only slightly better Thursday, although with a
bit stronger transport winds Thursday clearing index should
measure above 500. Better mixing heights will develop Friday
with the next storm system, resulting in excellent clearing
values. Increasing snow showers will begin to develop Thursday
evening and persist into Friday as cold air filters back into the
area. Anticipated snowfall accumulation around 1-2 inches near the
burn site.
