This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of western and
north central Nebraska.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT.

Dry and windy conditions are forecast to continue into early
evening across the region. Northwest wind gusts of 40 mph are
anticipated. Once the sun sets, winds will decrease to 25 mph or
less. Due to the dry and gusty conditions, the threat of large
range fire growth will continue through early evening.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY.

Strong northwest winds are expected again Tuesday with wind gusts
of 30 to 40 MPH possible. These winds will also coincide with a
dry mass in the afternoon to promote dangerous fire weather
conditions.

The threat of large range fire growth continues on Wednesday as
the dry, warm and breezy conditions continue.

An arctic cold front will move across the region Wednesday night
with strong northwest winds developing Thursday. Winds are
expected to increase to 20 to 30 mph with higher gusts.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will not be needed through tonight.
