THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PUERTO RICO AND THE ADJACENT
ATLANTIC COASTAL WATERS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

.THUNDERSTORMS...THERE IS A CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS WITH HEAVY
RAINFALL...BRIEF GUSTY WINDS AND LIGHTNING ACROSS THE LOCAL
WATERS AND ACROSS THE MOUNTAIN RANGES OF PUERTO RICO...ESPECIALLY
OVER EL YUNQUE AREA AND THE INTERIOR/WESTERN SECTIONS OF THE
ISLAND.

.FLOODING...HEAVY RAINS COULD LEAD TO URBAN AND SMALL STREAM
FLOODING. ALSO...DUE TO ALREADY SATURATED SOILS...MUDSLIDES AND
FLASH FLOODING IS POSSIBLE IN AREAS OF STEEP TERRAIN AND ALONG
THE MAIN RIVERS AND TRIBUTARIES OF EASTERN PR THIS AFTERNOON.
IN ADDITION...SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS WESTERN PR CAN LEAD
TO RIVER RISES ALONG THE CULEBRINA RIVER AND ITS TRIBUTARIES.

.RIP CURRENTS...THERE IS A MODERATE RISK OF RIP CURRENTS FOR
A FEW BEACHES ALONG THE NORTH COAST OF PUERTO RICO.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY

THE POTENTIAL FOR URBAN AND SMALL STREAM FLOODING WILL REMAIN HIGH
FOR THE NEXT FEW DAYS ACROSS PUERTO RICO. AS SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED EACH DAY. A MODERATE RISK OF RIP
CURRENTS WILL CONTINUE FOR MUCH OF THE WORK WEEK ACROSS THE NORTH
AND EAST FACING BEACHES OF THE ISLANDS.
