ANALYSIS CONFIDENCE...MODERATE TO HIGH.

SYNOPSIS...A LARGE COMPLEX LOW OVER THE SOUTHCENTRAL BERING SEA WILL
REMAIN IN PLACE THROUGH WEDNESDAY... THEN SHIFT OVER THE GULF OF
ALASKA THURSDAY WHERE THE LOW WILL PERSIST THROUGH SATURDAY.

THE ICE EDGE LIES FROM NEAR GOODNEWS BAY TO 59.6N 162.5W TO 59.4N
163.5W TO 59.8N 164.9W TO 59.2N 165.5W TO 58.4N 169.2W TO 58.7N
172.1W TO 61.2N 174.6E AND CONTINUES ALONG THE BERING SEA COAST OF
RUSSIA. THE ICE EDGE RANGES FROM OPEN WATER CONDITIONS TO 7 TENTHS
YOUNG... NEW AND FIRST YEAR THIN ICE IN STRIPS. MINIMAL SEA ICE
REMAINS NEAR RIVER DELTAS IN BRISTOL BAY.

FORECAST THROUGH SATURDAY...SOUTHERLY TO EASTERLY FLOW WILL PERSIST
THROUGH WEDNESDAY CONTINUING TO SHIFT THE MAIN ICE EDGE TO THE
NORTHEAST. NORTHEASTERLY TO NORTHERLY FLOW WILL PERSIST WEDNESDAY
NIGHT THROUGH SATURDAY SHIFTING THE ICE PACK BACK TO THE SOUTHWEST.
THE OVERALL ICE EDGE IS EXPECTED TO SHIFT TO THE SOUTHWEST 10 TO 20
NM THROUGH SATURDAY AS STRIPS OF ICE ARE PULLED OFF THE MAIN ICE
PACK. THE AREA SOUTH OF NUNIVAK ISLAND OVER TO KUSKOKWIM BAY SHOULD
BE SEA ICE FREE BY SATURDAY WITH THE ONLY ICE REMAINING NEAR SHORE
WITH STRIPS OF ICE BEING PULLED OFF THE PREVIOUSLY SHOREFAST ICE.

-COOK INLET-
PKZ140-COOK INLET NORTH OF KALGIN ISLAND-

THIS IS THE FINAL COOK INLET SEA ICE ANALYSIS FOR THE 2013 TO 2014
ICE SEASON. THE ONLY ICE THAT REMAINS WITHIN THE INLET IS NEAR
RIVER DELTAS.

RIVER ICE WILL CONTINUE TO ENTER COOK INLET THROUGH BREAKUP.
