  WATERS FROM CAMERON LA TO HIGH ISLAND TX FROM 20 TO 60 NM...

AT 839 PM CDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A LINE OF STRONG
THUNDERSTORMS...CAPABLE OF PRODUCING WINDS UP TO 33 KNOTS. THESE
THUNDERSTORMS WERE LOCATED ALONG A LINE EXTENDING FROM 9 NM SOUTHEAST
OF WEST CAMERON WC303 TO NEAR VERMILION 245...MOVING SOUTHWEST AT 35
KNOTS.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

MARINERS CAN EXPECT GUSTY WINDS UP TO 33 KNOTS...LOCALLY HIGHER
WAVES...AND LIGHTNING STRIKES. BOATERS SHOULD SEEK SAFE HARBOR
IMMEDIATELY UNTIL THESE STORMS PASS.

INTENSE LIGHTNING IS OCCURRING WITH THESE STORMS. IF CAUGHT ON THE
