...GALES SOUTH OF CAPE BLANCO THROUGH THE WEEK...

.A STRONG THERMAL TROUGH WILL PRODUCE NORTH GALES AND VERY STEEP
WIND DRIVEN SEAS SOUTH OF CAPE BLANCO THROUGH THE WEEK. SMALL
CRAFT ADVISORY LEVEL WINDS AND SEAS CAN BE EXPECTED ELSEWHERE.
WINDS WILL BE STRONGEST AND SEAS WILL BE STEEPEST DURING THE
AFTERNOONS AND EVENINGS BEYOND 5 NM FROM SHORE SOUTH OF CAPE
BLANCO. WINDS WILL BE PARTICULARLY STRONG STARTING ON TUESDAY
WITH HIGH END GALES TO LOW END STORM FORCE WINDS POSSIBLE AT
TIMES SOUTH OF CAPE BLANCO THROUGH THURSDAY.

* SEAS...VERY STEEP AND WIND DRIVEN AT 9 TO 13 FEET.

* AREAS AFFECTED AND TIMING...THE STRONGEST WINDS AND STEEPEST
  SEAS WILL OCCUR IN THE AFTERNOONS AND EVENINGS. WINDS MAY BECOME
  EVEN STRONGER WITH HIGH END GALES TO LOW END STORM FORCE WINDS
  POSSIBLE TUESDAY THROUGH THURSDAY.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A GALE WARNING MEANS WINDS OF 34 TO 47 KNOTS ALONG WITH VERY
STEEP AND HAZARDOUS SEAS ARE IMMINENT OR OCCURRING. OPERATING A
VESSEL IN GALE CONDITIONS REQUIRES EXPERIENCE AND PROPERLY
EQUIPPED VESSELS. IT IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED THAT MARINERS WITHOUT
THE PROPER EXPERIENCE SEEK SAFE HARBOR PRIOR TO THE ONSET OF GALE
CONDITIONS.

* AREAS AFFECTED AND TIMING...THE STRONGEST WINDS AND STEEPEST
  SEAS WILL OCCUR IN THE AFTERNOONS AND EVENINGS AND BEYOND 5 NM
  FROM SHORE. WINDS WILL BE LIGHTER AND SEAS CALMER WITHIN A MILE
  OR TWO OF BROOKINGS...ESPECIALLY AT NIGHT...HOWEVER CONDITIONS
  HAZARDOUS TO SMALL CRAFT CAN STILL BE EXPECTED.
