Until Noon, isolated showers will move across the adjacent nearshore
waters surrounding the island chain, primarily impacting land and
marine locations from Big Pine to Key Largo, and across the Straits
of Florida, out 60 nm southeast of the Upper Keys. Residents and
boaters crossing paths with these showers can expect brief bouts of
light to moderate rain, locally gusty winds to around 20 mph, and a
reduction in visibility to around 4 miles.
