THIS AFTERNOON...

.STRONG SURFACE HIGH PRESSURE CONTINUES TO BUILD ACROSS DEEP SOUTH
TEXAS AND THE PRESSURE GRADIENT CONTINUES TO REMAIN VERY STRONG
ACROSS THE LOWER TEXAS COAST THIS AFTERNOON. THE STRONG NORTH
WINDS WILL CONTINUE ACROSS THE COASTAL SECTIONS OF DEEP SOUTH
TEXAS THROUGH AT LEAST THIS EVENING.

* WINDS...NORTH WINDS 20 TO 30 MPH WITH GUSTS TO NEAR 40 MPH.

* IMPACTS...MOVE LIGHT AND MODERATE WEIGHT ITEMS...SUCH AS PATIO
  FURNITURE...EMPTY TRASH CANS...AND PORTABLE BASKETBALL
  POSTS...INDOORS. HIGH PROFILE OR LIGHT WEIGHT VEHICLES WILL BE
  DIFFICULT TO DRIVE...ESPECIALLY ON BRIDGES OR OVERPASSES AND IN CROSSWINDS.
