The National Weather Service in Portland has cancelled the Heat
Advisory.

Although maximum temperatures on Saturday are expected to reach
about 90 degrees in some places along the coast, widespread heat
impacts are not expected.

...EXCESSIVE HEAT WARNING IN EFFECT FROM NOON SATURDAY TO 9 PM
PDT SUNDAY...

The National Weather Service in Portland has upgraded the
Excessive Heat Watch to an Excessive Heat Warning, which is in
effect from noon Saturday to 9 PM PDT Sunday.

* IMPACTS...The elderly, youth, and those without air conditioning
  will be vulnerable to the heat. In addition, those working or
  exercising outdoors will be at an increased risk of dehydration
  and heat-related illnesses.

* HIGH TEMPERATURES SATURDAY AND SUNDAY: Mid 90s to near 100
  degrees

* LOW TEMPERATURES: In the mid to upper 60s Saturday night

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

An Excessive Heat Warning means that a prolonged period of
dangerously hot temperatures will occur. Drink plenty of fluids,
stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up
on relatives and neighbors. When possible, reschedule strenuous
activities to the morning hours. Know the signs and symptoms of
heat exhaustion and heat stroke. Heat stroke is an emergency,
call 9 1 1.

  are sensitive to heat and those without effective cooling and
  adequate hydration.

* HIGH TEMPERATURES SATURDAY AND SUNDAY: Mid to upper 90s

* LOW TEMPERATURES: In the 60s Saturday night

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

effect from noon to 9 PM PDT Saturday.

* HIGH TEMPERATURES SATURDAY: Ranging from the low 90s in the
  higher Coast Range to the upper 90s in the valleys.
