Offshore Waters Forecast for Hawaii

Hawaiian offshore waters beyond 40 nautical miles out to 240
nautical miles including the portion of the Papahanaumokuakea
Marine National Monument east of French Frigate Shoals

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average height
of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be more than
twice the significant wave height.

.Synopsis for the Hawaiian offshore waters...
Strong high pressure far north northeast of the area will
gradually drift south over the next few days, maintaining strong
E to SE winds over the offshore waters. A weak surface trough
will  remain near the western offshore waters through the period.
A  series of upper level disturbances moving just west of the
offshore waters will maintain the threat of thunderstorms over NW
sections through the period.

thunderstorms NW waters.
.MONDAY...E to SE winds 20 to 30 kt. Seas 8 to 12 ft. Isolated
thunderstorms NW waters.
.MONDAY NIGHT THROUGH THURSDAY...E to SE winds 20 to 30 kt. Seas
10 to 15 ft. Isolated thunderstorms NW waters.
