.Synopsis... Strong high pressure located far NNE of the islands will
continue to move E, further away from the islands. This will cause
the trade winds to weaken through tonight. Also, a trough will form
and dissipate over the offshore waters just W of Kauai over the
weekend.

Hawaiian waters within 40 nautical miles including the channels-


.TODAY...East winds 15 to 20 knots across the leeward waters.
Otherwise, east winds 20 to 30 knots. Wind waves 8 to 12 feet.
North swell 4 to 5 feet. East swell 7 feet. Chance of showers.
.TONIGHT...East winds 10 to 20 knots across the leeward waters.
Elsewhere, east winds 20 to 25 knots. Wind waves 7 to 11 feet.
North swell 3 to 4 feet. East swell 7 feet. Chance of showers.
.SATURDAY...East winds 10 to 20 knots. Wind waves 6 to 9 feet.
Mixed swell north 3 feet and east 6 to 7 feet. Chance of showers.

of 160W, E winds 10 to 20 kt. Elsewhere, E winds 15 to 25 kt. Seas
9 to 13 ft.
.SATURDAY AND SATURDAY NIGHT...Trough along 162W. W of trough,
variable winds to 10 kt. Rest of area, E winds 15 to 25 kt.
