...FIRE WEATHER WATCH IN EFFECT FROM MONDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH
MONDAY EVENING FOR LIGHTNING WITH DRY FUELS FOR FIRE WEATHER
ZONES 617 AND 623...

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MEDFORD HAS ISSUED A FIRE WEATHER
WATCH...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM MONDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH MONDAY
EVENING.

* AFFECTED AREA: FIRE WEATHER ZONES 617 AND 623. THIS INCLUDES THE
  SKY LAKES WILDERNESS, CRATER LAKE, AND THE VICINITY OF DIAMOND LAKE.

* THUNDERSTORMS...COVERAGE WILL BE ISOLATED. THUNDERSTORMS WILL
  BE FAST MOVING AND PRODUCE LITTLE OR NO RAINFALL.

* OUTFLOW WINDS...WIND GUSTS OF 30 TO 45 MPH ARE POSSIBLE.

* IMPACTS...IT IS HIGHLY LIKELY THAT LIGHTNING WILL START NEW
  FIRES AS SOUTHERLY WINDS AWAY FROM THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE BREEZY
  AT 10 TO 20 MPH AND FUELS ARE VERY DRY.
