DAILY RIVER AND LAKE SUMMARY
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE COLUMBIA SC
1032 AM EDT SUN MAY 29 2016

...All river forecast points forecast below flood stage. Risk of
isolated urban and small stream flooding exists through Monday...

Tropical Storm Bonnie has weakened just off the Charleston SC coastline
and is now a depression. Further slow weakening and northward movement
is expected over the next 48 hours. The slow movement of the system and
expected rainfall bands...heaviest in the CSRA and Southern/Western
Midlands will pose problems for the next few days. Up to 4 inches are
possible in some areas...locally higher amounts of up to 6 inches over
the next 2 days until the system pulls far enough north to end significant
rains. Primary river impacts are expected in the Edisto and mid-to-lower
Savannah River Basins. At this time...no significant large-scale river
flooding is expected as reservoirs have available storage capacity. The
most urgent concern continues to be localized urban and small stream
flooding in heavier rain bands and thunderstorm cores.
