...Tennessee River at Florence forecast to remain between action and
flood stage through Saturday...

Runoff from recent rainfall is expected to cause river levels on the
Tennessee River at Florence to remain between action and flood stage
through Saturday. Although it is not expected to reach Flood Stage...
some nuisance flooding of lowlands may still occur. If additional
rainfall occurs...the river could rise back to Flood Stage.

At 5 PM Thursday the stage was 17.7 feet. Action Stage is 16.0 feet.
Flood Stage is 18.0 feet. The river is forecast to remain steady
around 17.7 feet through midnight tonight.

All persons with interests along the river should monitor the latest
forecasts...and be prepared to take necessary precautions to protect
life and property from rising river levels.
