...High Water Levels on the Lower Sacramento River System...


.Runoff from earlier heavy rains and a new Pacific storm will move
through the lower Sacramento River system the next several days and
generate renewed rises.

Forecasts are based on present and forecasted meteorological and
hydrologic conditions at time of issuance.

Unlisted forecast points are expected to remain below monitor stage.
All those affected by river conditions should remain alert for rapid
changes and for possible forecast revisions.

Sacramento River At
 Fremont Weir 01/10 02:15 stage 35.1 ft
 present overflow depth is about 3.1 ft then overflow to remain near
depth of 2.9 ft thru this evening then overflow depth at weir
increasing to 4.0 ft tomorrow evening then overflow to remain near
depth of 4.0 ft thru early thursday morning.
 Monitor stage 32.0 ft, Flood stage 39.5 ft
Impact for Fremont Weir...Near 33.1 feet, At one foot of overflow,
the river road to Woodland is closed due to flooding.
Impact for Fremont Weir...Near 32.0 feet, Fremont Weir crest
elevation. Overflow begins into the Yolo Bypass flooding agricultural
lands.

 forecast to recede to near 35.0 ft late this evening then forecast
to rise to near  36.0 ft tomorrow evening then forecast to fluctuate
near 36.0 ft thru early thursday morning.
 Monitor stage MSG ft, Flood stage 41.3 ft

 forecast to rise to near  30.0 ft this morning then forecast to

 Monitor stage 27.5 ft, Flood stage 33.5 ft
Impact for I Street Bridge...Near 21.4 feet, Discovery Park is closed
to the public.

 forecast to fluctuate near 81.0 ft thru this afternoon then forecast
to rise to near  83.0 ft early tomorrow morning with continued rise
expected.
 Monitor stage 74.0 ft, Flood stage 87.0 ft
Impact for Marysville...Near 80.0 feet, Simpson Lane becomes
impassible. Dantoni Road floods. More orchards flood.
Impact for Marysville...Near 79.0 feet, Simpson Lane floods. Access
into and out of Marysville via Simpson Lane bridge is cut off.
Orchards within the levee system are flooded.
Impact for Marysville...Near 74.0 feet, Monitor stage.

 forecast to rise above monitor stage of 16.0 ft this evening then
forecast to rise to near  19.5 ft early tomorrow morning with
continued rise expected.
 Monitor stage 16.0 ft, Flood stage 24.0 ft
Impact for Wheatland...Near 13.6 feet, Orchards within the levee
downstream near Pleasant Grove Road begin to flood.

 Lisbon 01/10 02:15 stage 11.1 ft
 forecast to rise above monitor stage of 13.0 ft this morning then
forecast to crest near 18.0 ft early thursday morning.
 Monitor stage 13.0 ft, Flood stage 19.0 ft
Impact for Lisbon...Near 16.0 feet, Glide In Ranch is completely
flooded.
Impact for Lisbon...Near 15.0 feet, County Road 155 is flooded west
of the Golden Sprig Duck Club.
Impact for Lisbon...Near 14.0 feet, Skyrakers Duck Club ponds begin
to flood.
Impact for Lisbon...Near 13.0 feet, Flood waters extend approximately
1 mile west of the tow drain downstream of the Lisbon gage.
Impact for Lisbon...Near 12.0 feet, County Road 107 is flooded.
Impact for Lisbon...Near 11.0 feet, Glide In Ranch & Mound Farms
begin to flood.
Impact for Lisbon...Near 10.5 feet, Local roads on the east side of
the Yolo Bypass south of the I-80 causeway are flooded.
Impact for Lisbon...Near 9.5 feet, Yolo Bypass flooding extends 1/4
mile west. No structural damage is occurring.
