TUESDAY AFTERNOON TEMPERATURES RANGED FROM 20 TO 30 DEGREES COLDER
ACROSS NORTHERN ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST INDIANA THAN MONDAY
AFTERNOON. LATE AFTERNOON TEMPERATURES TUESDAY RANGED FROM 64
DEGREES IN PONTIAC TO 54 DEGREES IN DE KALB. WINDS WERE FROM THE
NORTH TO NORTHEAST.

SOUTHEAST WINDS WILL DEVELOP ON WEDNESDAY AS A WARM FRONT LIFTS
NORTH. TEMPERATURES WILL WARM BACK INTO THE 70S DESPITE INCREASING
CLOUD COVER...EXCEPT MID TO UPPER 60S ALONG THE ILLINOIS SHORE.
SCATTERED SHOWERS AND A FEW STORMS WILL DEVELOP WEDNESDAY
EVENING...WITH SHOWERS AND STORMS BECOMING MORE WIDESPREAD INTO
THURSDAY AND THURSDAY EVENING AS LOW PRESSURE TRACKS NORTHEAST
ACROSS THE MISSISSIPPI VALLEY. A COLD FRONT TRAILING FROM THE LOW
WILL SWEEP ACROSS THE AREA THURSDAY NIGHT...BRINGING DRIER AND
COOLER CONDITIONS ON FRIDAY. A FEW LINGERING SHOWERS ARE POSSIBLE.
HIGHS WILL ONLY REACH THE LOWER TO MID 60S AFTER REACHING THE MID
TO UPPER 70S ON THURSDAY. SATURDAY WILL BE EVEN COOLER IN THE MID
50S TO AROUND 60 UNDER PARTLY CLOUDY SKIES...MODERATING SOME ON
SUNDAY.
