ABUNDANT SUNSHINE GRACED THE RUSHMORE STATE ON SUNDAY AS WEAK HIGH
PRESSURE CONTINUED TO INFLUENCE MUCH OF THE REGION. DURING THE
AFTERNOON...NORTHWEST WINDS AT 10 TO 20 MPH WITH HIGHER GUSTS WEST
OF THE MISSOURI RIVER PREVAILED.

HIGH TEMPERATURES ON SUNDAY VARIED FROM THE MIDDLE 70S TO UPPER 80S
AROUND SOUTH DAKOTA. WATERTOWN WAS THE COOLEST LOCATION WITH 77
DEGREES...WHILE THE WARMEST SPOT WAS WINNER WHICH CHIMED IN AT 90.

AT MID EVENING...IT WAS MOSTLY SUNNY AROUND THE STATE AS NORTHWEST
WINDS CONTINUED THROUGHOUT THE NORTHERN PLAINS. TEMPERATURES WERE IN
THE 70S TO LOWER 80S IN MOST AREAS.

IT WILL BE MOSTLY CLEAR OVERNIGHT AS WEAK HIGH PRESSURE CONTINUES TO
INFLUENCE MUCH OF THE STATE. NORTHWEST WINDS AT 5 TO 10 MPH WILL
PERSIST ACROSS SOUTH DAKOTA. LOW TEMPERATURES WILL DIP INTO THE
LOWER TO MIDDLE 50S.
