...Strong cold front expected to bring coldest temperatures of
season to the Panhandles Wednesday night through Thursday morning...

An arctic airmass will settle over the Panhandles behind a strong
cold front late Wednesday into Thursday. Strong northerly winds
are expected as the cold front moves through Wednesday afternoon.
While a few flurries are possible mainly across the eastern
Oklahoma Panhandle Wednesday afternoon through Wednesday
night...the main story is the very cold conditions. Temperatures
will quickly drop going into Wednesday night as high pressure
begins to settle over the area. Lows will be in the single digits
in the western Oklahoma Panhandle with teens in the southeastern
Texas Panhandle.
