CLARENDON...EAST CENTRAL LEXINGTON...SUMTER...NORTHEASTERN
ORANGEBURG...RICHLAND AND SOUTHWESTERN KERSHAW COUNTIES...

At 110 PM EDT, radar indicated clusters of strong thunderstorms
moving across a large portion of the Eastern Midlands.   These
storms were moving off to the east at 30 mph.

Locations impacted include...
Columbia, Sumter, West Columbia, Cayce, Forest Acres, Camden,
Manning, Bishopville, Dentsville, South Sumter, Woodfields, St.
Andrews, St. Matthews, Summerton, Arcadia Lakes, Eastover, Lugoff,
Oakland, Mulberry and Woodfield.

Small hail and Graupel will be possible with these storms.

Brief heavy rainfall is also occurring with these storms, and may
cause localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
