The National Weather Service in North Platte has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Northeastern Custer County in central Nebraska...

* Until 1030 PM CDT

* At 944 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Comstock, or
  17 miles south of Taylor, moving southeast at 30 mph.

  HAZARD...Two inch hail and 60 mph wind gusts.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
           damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect
           wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Sargent, Comstock, Weissert, Westerville, Lillian, Round Valley,
  Walworth, Big Oak Canyon, Arcadia Diversion Dam State Wildlife
  Management Area, Divide Hill, Wescott and Gates.

This includes Highway 183 between mile markers 96 and 120.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
