NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE GAYLORD MI

MUCH COLDER AIR WILL PREVAIL ACROSS NORTHERN MICHIGAN OVER THE NEXT
WEEK ALONG WITH SEVERAL PERIODS OF SNOW. LAKE EFFECT SNOW WILL
BECOME MORE WIDESPREAD THROUGH SATURDAY, ESPECIALLY FOR LOCATIONS
ACROSS EASTERN UPPER AND WEST OF INTERSTATE 75 IN NORTHERN LOWER.
ADDITIONAL ACCUMULATING SNOW IS POSSIBLE ACROSS ALL OF NORTHERN
MICHIGAN SUNDAY AND AGAIN EARLY NEXT WEEK.

HIGH TEMPERATURES TODAY...WILL RANGE FROM THE UPPER 20S TO THE LOW
30S.

LOW TEMPERATURES TONIGHT...WILL BE IN THE MID TO UPPER TEENS ACROSS
THE UPPER PENINSULA AND IN THE 20S ELSEWHERE.

HERE IS THE HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK FOR NORTHERN LOWER AND EASTERN
UPPER MICHIGAN.

GALE FORCE WINDS WILL CONTINUE TONIGHT ON THE NEARSHORE WATERS OF
NORTHERN LAKES MICHIGAN AND HURON...INCLUDING THE STRAITS.

SIGNIFICANT LAKE EFFECT SNOW ACCUMULATIONS AND BLOWING SNOW WILL
CONTINUE THURSDAY THROUGH FRIDAY IN THE SNOWBELT AREAS...MAINLY WEST
OF INTERSTATE 75. PLEASE SEE WARNINGS AND ADVISORIES FOR ADDITIONAL
DETAILS.
