HIGH PRESSURE CENTERED ALONG THE ATLANTIC SEABOARD WILL GENERATE
QUIET WEATHER ACROSS NORTHERN MICHIGAN INTO THIS EVENING...BEFORE
THIS PATTERN LIFTS INTO THE NORTH ATLANTIC TONIGHT.

HOWEVER...A STORM SYSTEM CURRENTLY ORGANIZING OVER THE PLAINS...WILL
LIFT INTO THE GREAT LAKES BY MIDWEEK. THIS SYSTEM WILL GENERATE
NEARLY SEASONAL TEMPERATURES ALONG WITH A WINTRY MIX OF
RAIN...SNOW...AND FREEZING ACROSS THE NORTHERN GREAT TUESDAY THROUGH
THURSDAY.

HIGH TEMPERATURES TODAY...WILL RANGE THROUGH THE 30S STATE
WIDE...WITH LOW TEMPERATURES TONIGHT IN THE UPPER 20S TO MIDDLE 30S.

HERE IS THE HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK FOR NORTHERN LOWER AND EASTERN
UPPER MICHIGAN.

A WINTRY MIXTURE OF SNOW AND FREEZING RAIN WILL DEVELOP OVER THE
HIGHER TERRAIN AND TIP OF THE MITT AREAS OF NORTHERN LOWER MICHIGAN
THROUGH LATE EVENING...WITH THIS PRECIPITATION MOVING INTO EASTERN
UPPER MICHIGAN OVERNIGHT. WITH TEMPERATURES AT OR BELOW FREEZING...A
LIGHT ACCUMULATION OF SNOW AND ICE MAY LEAD TO SLICK TRAVEL
CONDITIONS INTO TUESDAY MORNING.

THOSE WITH TRAVEL PLANS ACROSS THE AREA WEDNESDAY AND CHRISTMAS
MORNING...SHOULD PLAN FOR CONTINUED WINTRY TRAVEL AND STAY INFORMED
