THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN BINGHAMTON HAS ISSUED A WINTER
STORM WATCH...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM MONDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH
TUESDAY AFTERNOON.

* LOCATIONS...WAYNE COUNTY.

* HAZARDS...HEAVY SNOW, BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW.

* ACCUMULATIONS...POTENTIAL FOR MORE THAN 7 INCHES.

* TIMING...LIGHT SNOW OVERSPREADS THE AREA MONDAY MORNING WITH
  INITIALLY MINOR ACCUMULATIONS. HOWEVER...HEAVIER SNOW IS EXPECTED
  AFTER MIDNIGHT MONDAY NIGHT INTO EARLY TUESDAY AFTERNOON. IT
  WILL BE DURING THIS PERIOD THAT THE HIGHEST IMPACT WILL OCCUR.

* TEMPERATURES...IN THE LOWER 20S DURING THE DAY AND TEENS MONDAY
  NIGHT.

* WINDS...NORTHEAST 10 TO 20 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 30 MPH.

* IMPACTS...DANGEROUS TRAVEL DUE TO POOR VISIBILITY AND SNOW
  COVERED ROADS. SNOWFALL RATES OF 1 INCH OR MORE PER HOUR ARE
  POSSIBLE PRIMARILY MONDAY NIGHT INTO TUESDAY MORNING.
