THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN FAIRBANKS HAS ISSUED A WINTER
STORM WATCH...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM TUESDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH
WEDNESDAY MORNING.

* WINDS...SOUTHEAST GUSTING TO AROUND 60 MPH.

* SNOW...4 TO 8 INCHES.

* BLOWING SNOW...REDUCING VISIBILITY TO ONE HALF MILE OR LESS.

* TIMING...A STRONG WEATHER FRONT WILL MOVE TO THE AREA EARLY
  TUESDAY AND CONDITIONS WILL DETERIORATE RAPIDLY TO NEAR BLIZZARD
  CONDITIONS.

* IMPACTS...VISIBILITY WILL BE POOR AND SNOW WILL ACCUMULATE INTO
  DRIFTS. WHITEOUT CONDITIONS MAY OCCUR. TRAVEL AND OUTDOOR
  ACTIVITIES WILL BE DIFFICULT.
