MAY 2015 WAS COOLER AND WETTER THAN NORMAL. THE AVERAGE MONTHLY
TEMPERATURE WAS 53.9 DEGREES WHICH IS 1.6 DEGREES BELOW THE NORMAL
55.5 DEGREES. THERE WAS ONE RECORD OVERNIGHT LOW TEMPERATURE SET FOR
BISMARCK...WHICH WAS A FROSTY 25 DEGREES ON THE EARLY MORNING OF THE
THE 19TH. THIS BREAKS THE OLD RECORD OF 27 DEGREES SET BACK IN 2002.

MAY WAS ALSO A PRETTY WET MONTH. THE MONTHLY TOTAL PRECIPITATION
MEASURED A SOGGY 5.31 INCHES. A SURPLUS OF 2.91 INCHES MORE THAN THE
NORMAL 2.40 INCHES...RANKING AS THE 7TH OVERALL WETTEST MAY. A
RECORD RAINFALL TOTAL OF 1.57 WAS ALSO SET ON MAY 16TH...BREAKING
THE VERY OLD RECORD OF 0.80 SET ON THAT DATE IN 1889.
