...DENSE FOG ADVISORY SOUTHERN JAMES RIVER VALLEY THROUGH MID
MORNING...

.AREAS OF DENSE FOG WILL COVER THE JAMES RIVER VALLEY FROM
JAMESTOWN SOUTH TO THE SOUTH DAKOTA BORDER THROUGH THE MORNING
HOURS. VISIBILITY WILL AT TIMES FALL BELOW A QUARTER MILE MAKING
TRAVEL HAZARDOUS. WITH AIR AND ROAD SURFACE TEMPERATURES BELOW
FREEZING THE FOG WILL DEPOSIT A COATING OF FROST ON THE ROADS AND
BRIDGES MAKING THEM SLIPPERY. THE NORTH DAKOTA HIGHWAY PATROL
ADVISES NOT USING CRUISE CONTROL WITH SLIPPERY CONDITIONS. THE FOG
WILL GRADUALLY LIFT AFTER 11 AM CST.

ADVISORY...WHICH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 AM CST THIS MORNING.

* VISIBILITY...ONE QUARTER MILE OR LESS.

* IMPACTS...HAZARDOUS DRIVING CONDITIONS DUE TO LOW VISIBILITY
  AND SLIPPERY ROADS DUE TO FROST.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A DENSE FOG ADVISORY MEANS VISIBILITIES WILL BE REDUCED TO LESS
THAN ONE QUARTER MILE. IF DRIVING...SLOW DOWN...USE YOUR LOW BEAM
HEADLIGHTS...AND LEAVE PLENTY OF DISTANCE BETWEEN YOU AND THE
VEHICLE AHEAD OF YOU. BE ESPECIALLY CAREFUL AT RAILROAD CROSSINGS
AND NEAR CROSSWALKS.
