THIS MORNING...

.AREAS OF DENSE FOG HAD DEVELOPED AND EXPANDED ALONG THE JAMES
RIVER VALLEY EARLY THIS MORNING. VISIBILITIES HAVE BEEN AS LOW AS
1/4 MILE IN JAMESTOWN AND CARRINGTON. CITIES AND TOWNS IN THE
DENSE FOG ADVISORY INCLUDE ELLENDALE...OAKES...LAMOURE...
JAMESTOWN...AND CARRINGTON. TRAVELERS IN THE ADVISORY AREA SHOULD
TRY TO DELAY TRAVEL...OR ALLOW EXTRA TRAVEL TIME IF TRAVEL IS
NECESSARY. EXTREME CAUTION SHOULD BE TAKEN AT UNCONTROLLED
INTERSECTIONS AND RAILROAD CROSSINGS. LEAVE PLENTY OF DISTANCE
BETWEEN YOU AND THE VEHICLE AHEAD OF YOU.

ADVISORY...WHICH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 AM CDT THIS MORNING.

* VISIBILITY...1/4 MILE OR LESS.

* IMPACTS...DANGEROUS DRIVING CONDITIONS IN LOW TO ZERO
  VISIBILITY...ESPECIALLY AT UNCONTROLLED INTERSECTIONS AND
  RAILROAD CROSSINGS.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A DENSE FOG ADVISORY MEANS VISIBILITIES WILL BE REDUCED TO LESS
THAN ONE QUARTER MILE. IF DRIVING...SLOW DOWN...USE YOUR LOW BEAM
HEADLIGHTS...AND LEAVE PLENTY OF DISTANCE BETWEEN YOU AND THE
VEHICLE AHEAD OF YOU. BE ESPECIALLY CAREFUL AT RAILROAD CROSSINGS
AND NEAR CROSSWALKS.
