...THE MINOT NOAA WEATHER RADIO STATION IS OFF THE AIR...

...THE TEST TORNADO WARNING THAT WILL BE TRANSMITTED TODAY
AROUND 1115 AM CDT MAY NOT BE RECEIVED BY SOME DEVICES IN
NORTH CENTRAL NORTH DAKOTA...

THE MINOT NOAA WEATHER RADIO TRANSMITTER...WXL-83 AT 162.400
MHZ...IS OFF THE AIR. THE ANTENNA WAS STRUCK BY LIGHTNING LAST
WEEKEND. AS A RESULT...THE MINOT NOAA WEATHER RADIO STATION WILL
BE OFF THE AIR FOR AN EXTENDED PERIOD OF TIME.

A TEST TORNADO WARNING WILL BE SENT AROUND 1115 AM CDT TODAY AS
PART OF SEVERE SUMMER WEATHER AWARENESS WEEK. THIS TEST WARNING
MAY NOT BE RECEIVED BY ALL DEVICES IN NORTH CENTRAL NORTH DAKOTA
BECAUSE THE MINOT TRANSMITTER IS OFF THE AIR.
