...SUMMARY OF FLOOD PRODUCTS AS OF MONDAY AFTERNOON...

THIS WEEK WILL SEE NOTABLE IMPROVEMENT IN REMAINING HIGH WATER
AREAS ALONG THE SOURIS RIVER. DESPITE THE POTENTIAL FOR SIGNIFICANT
THUNDERSTORM ACTIVITY ON MONDAY. THESE FAST MOVING STORMS ARE
UNLIKELY TO PRODUCE THE KIND OF SUSTAINED HEAVY RAINS THAT HAVE
RECENTLY PROVEN PROBLEMATIC FOR THE SOURIS RIVER ITSELF. WITHOUT
SUBTANTIAL RUNOFF GENERATED FROM THIS EVENT...THE SOURIS RIVER NEAR
BANTRY IS LIKELY TO FALL BELOW FLOOD STAGE BY FRIDAY. THE SOURIS
RIVER NEAR TOWNER WILL FOLLOW SUIT DURING THE COMING WEEKEND WHILE
THE SOURIS RIVER NEAR WESTHOPE WILL MOST LIKELY REMAIN ABOVE FLOOD
STAGE UNTIL EARLY AUGUST. ELSEWHERE IN THE SOURIS RIVER BASIN...
WILLOW CREEK NEAR WILLOW CITY IS LIKELY TO REMAIN ABOVE FLOOD STAGE
UNTIL AROUND EARLY NEXT WEEK.
