Public Information Statement
National Weather Service Bismarck ND
155 PM CDT Wed Mar 29 2017

...SUMMARY OF FLOOD PRODUCTS AS OF WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON, MARCH
29th...

Flood warnings are in effect for the Souris River near Foxholm,
Towner, Bantry and Westhope. Flood warnings are also in effect for
Willow Creek near Willow City and the Wintering River near
Karlsruhe.

Runoff from melting snow is making its way through the Souris
River and its tributaries in North Dakota. Elevated water levels
are going to be present in the Souris River basin for the
foreseeable future.

Also in the Souris River basin, a Flood Advisory remains in effect
for small streams and minor rural flooding in Rollete county and
parts of Bottineau, Pierce, and McHenry counties.

While warm weather over the coming days will continue to encourage
snowmelt and excessive runoff, not enough rain is expected to
significantly add to the high water.
