URGENT - FIRE WEATHER MESSAGE

...RED FLAG WARNING ALONG AND WEST OF THE MISSOURI RIVER SUNDAY
AFTERNOON THROUGH EARLY SUNDAY EVENING...

.A cold front will push across western North Dakota late Sunday
afternoon into the early evening. Ahead of the cold front, southerly
winds between 20 mph and 30 mph, combined with temperatures around
100 degrees, minimum relative humidities as low as 15 percent, and
very dry fuels, will produce critical fire weather conditions along
and west of the Missouri River.

...RED FLAG WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 1 PM CDT /NOON MDT/ TO 9 PM
CDT /8 PM MDT/ SUNDAY FOR STRONG WINDS, LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITIES,
HOT TEMPERATURES, AND VERY DRY FUELS...

The National Weather Service in Bismarck has issued a Red Flag
Warning, which is in effect from 1 PM CDT /noon MDT/ to 9 PM CDT
/8 PM MDT/ Sunday. The Fire Weather Watch is no longer in effect.

* WIND...South between 20 and 30 mph. Winds shifting to the
  northwest late Sunday afternoon into the early evening.

* HUMIDITY...As low as 15 percent.

* TEMPERATURES...Around 100 degrees.

* IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions
will occur, which can contribute to extreme fire behavior.
