URGENT - FIRE WEATHER MESSAGE

...RED FLAG WARNING ALONG AND WEST OF THE MISSOURI RIVER THIS
AFTERNOON THROUGH EARLY EVENING...

.A cold front will push across western North Dakota late this
afternoon into the early evening. Ahead of the cold front,
southerly winds between 20 mph and 30 mph, combined with
temperatures around 100 degrees, minimum relative humidities as
low as 15 percent, and very dry fuels, will produce critical fire
weather conditions along and west of the Missouri River.

THIS EVENING FOR STRONG WINDS, LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITIES, HOT
TEMPERATURES, AND VERY DRY FUELS...

* AFFECTED AREA...Southwest and parts of south central North
  Dakota along and west of the Missouri River.

* WIND...South between 20 and 30 mph. Winds shifting to the
  northwest late Sunday afternoon into the early evening.

* HUMIDITY...As low as 15 percent.

* TEMPERATURES...Around 100 degrees.

* IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions
will occur, which can contribute to extreme fire behavior.
