Scattered light rain continues to slowly track eastward across
the region this morning, presently over the western Dakotas,
northwestern Montana, and southern Manitoba. This morning`s low
range from the upper 20s along the International Border to the
upper 30s south.

A modest cooling trend is expected today through Thursday, though
today`s highs will still range from around 50 north to the upper
60s in southwest Minnesota. Light rain will be likely over
portions of South Dakota and into southern Minnesota today through
late Thursday. A brief warm-up is expected Friday before a
clipper system dives through the area. This will bring
precipitation chances mainly to eastern portions of the region
late Friday into Saturday, along with a cooling trend through the
weekend.
