Around the region early Wednesday morning, scattered showers and
thunderstorms were occurring in southeast North Dakota and
western Minnesota, and also in eastern Montana. It was dry
elsewhere with a partly to mostly cloudy sky. Morning
temperatures ranged from the mid 50s to the mid 60s.

For today, expect scattered showers and thunderstorms in eastern
Montana and the western Dakotas, and from southern Minnesota into
southeast South Dakota. Otherwise it will be partly to mostly
sunny and dry elsewhere with high temperatures ranging from the
mid 70s north, to the 80s south.

Periodic chances for showers and thunderstorms will continue
through the upcoming weekend, along with a warming trend.
