An active weather pattern is expected across the northern Plains
the next several days, along with gradually cooling temperatures.
This morning light snow was moving eastward through central North
Dakota. This will track through eastern North Dakota into
northwest Minnesota and southern Manitoba through the day.
Southeast North Dakota and most of northern Minnesota will see a
wintry mix while northern South Dakota will have a chance of
light rain and an isolated thunderstorm or two through the day.
A strong low pressure system will then bring the possibility of
heavy snow to portions of South Dakota and southern Minnesota
Thursday into Friday.
Highs today will range from the 30s in North Dakota to the lower
60s in southeast Minnesota.
