Across the region early Monday morning, the sky was mostly clear
in the west and across the southern Canadian Provinces, with
mostly cloudy conditions farther east. A few showers and isolated
thunderstorms were occurring across eastern South Dakota. Morning
temperatures ranged from 30s in southeastern Saskatchewan, to the
40s and 50s elsewhere.

Mostly sunny conditions can be expected today for all but central
and southern Minnesota, where scattered rainshowers are forecast.
It will be warmer with highs in the upper 60s north, to the lower
80s in southwest South Dakota.

Showers and thunderstorms will overspread the region Tuesday, with
severe weather expected from the central and eastern Dakotas, into
Minnesota.
