This afternoon skies were clearing over the western and
central Dakotas with pockets of rain in northwestern Minnesota,
where a chance of a wintry mix exists into the evening hours.
Otherwise strong northwest winds can be expected over the Dakotas
and eastern Minnesota late this afternoon...and early evening.

Look for increasing clouds again tonight from eastern Montana into
western North Dakota. Cloudy across Minnesota and partly cloudy to
mostly clear skies across South Dakota. Lows will range from the
single digits in southern Manitoba to the 30s in southwestern South
Dakota.

Temperatures this weekend will continue to rise as highs reach the
50s to 70s by Sunday through the region with a chance or two of
light rain.
