Across the region early Thursday morning, plenty of clouds
stretched from southeast Saskatchewan through Manitoba, and from
eastern Montana through North Dakota. Scattered showers were
also occurring in southern Manitoba into northeast North Dakota.
It was mainly clear elsewhere. Morning temperatures ranged from
the 40s west, to the mid 50s east.

For today, it will remain cool with highs mainly in the 60s to
lower 70s. Mostly cloudy conditions can be expected north with a
few showers in northern Minnesota. Otherwise, farther south,
expect increasing amounts of sunshine.

Chances for showers and thunderstorms increase again Friday through
Saturday, with drier weather Sunday. Highs will gradually warm
back into the 80s Sunday for most of the northern high plains.
