DAYBREAK TEMPERATURES WILL BE MILD...IN THE 60S...UNDER PARTLY
CLOUDY SKIES WITH HAZE...AND AREAS OF SMOKE. THAT SMOKE IS FROM
FIRES BURNING IN THE NORTHWEST PART OF THE COUNTRY. THUNDERSHOWERS
WILL BE ISOLATED IN THE RED RIVER VALLEY.

DAYLIGHT HOURS TODAY WILL SEE TEMPERATURES RISING INTO THE VERY WARM
TO HOT CATEGORY. THE HIGH TEMPERATURE RANGE IS GOING TO BE FROM THE
MID 80S ACROSS THE SOUTHERN PRAIRIE PROVINCES TO NEAR 100 ON THE
SOUTH DAKOTA AND NEBRASKA BORDER. SOME THUNDERSTORMS ARE POSSIBLE
TODAY FROM SOUTH DAKOTA THROUGH MINNESOTA...AND INTO SOUTHEAST
MANITOBA. SOME OF THE STORMS ACROSS NORTHERN MINNESOTA COULD REACH
SEVERE LEVELS. AND...THE SKY WILL REMAIN HAZY TODAY.

LOOKING AHEAD TO MONDAY...SEVERE WEATHER WILL BE POSSIBLE ACROSS
MOST OF THE NORTHERN PLAINS...BE WEATHER READY.
