For the region overnight, a strong cold front pushing through
Saskatchewan will continue to plow across the northern high
plains. Gusty westerly winds in excess of 60 mph will accompany
the cold front in southern Saskatchewan and northeast Montana. It
will become windy across northern North Dakota overnight with
winds to 55 mph. Overnight lows will generally be in the 40s
across the entire region.

Cooler and windy weather can be expected Wednesday with highs in
the 50s north, to lower 70s in southern Minnesota and southeastern
South Dakota. Critical fire weather conditions are possible for
central and northern North Dakota and northern Minnesota Wednesday
afternoon.
