Tonight, partly to mostly cloudy skies were in place across the
Northern Plains. Light rain and snow showers were located over
parts of eastern Minnesota, with rain developing over eastern
Montana.

Clouds and precipitation chances will increase from the west overnight.
Lows will range from the upper 20s northeast, to the lower 40s
southwest. Rain over southeastern Montana will eventually spread
into the Dakotas by Thursday. This precipitation may transition to
light freezing rain or snow over parts of North Dakota by
Thursday afternoon.

Precipitation chances linger over southeastern South Dakota and
southern Minnesota on Friday with dry conditions likely on
Saturday. The warming trend will continue through the end of the
work week and well into the weekend.
