Breezy conditions with showers and thunderstorms in the forecast for
much of the region today.

It will be mostly sunny across much of the Northern Plains States
today with chances for showers and thunderstorms from the southern
Canadian Prairies to the eastern Dakotas and Minnesota. A chance for
some afternoon thunderstorms in the Black Hills. Highs from the
upper 70s in northern Minnesota to the 90s in southern and central
South Dakota.

Chances for thunderstorms will continue overnight for much of
South Dakota through southern and eastern Minnesota. A slight
chance for a thunderstorm in northern North Dakota. Lows in the
50s and 60s.

Cooler temperatures will push into the region late this week and
into the weekend.
