This evening, scattered showers and thunderstorms were located
over southeastern Montana and northwestern North Dakota.

For the rest of tonight, thunderstorms should increase in
coverage across parts of eastern Montana and the western Dakotas.
A few of these storms may become severe. Through the early
morning hours on Tuesday, showers and thunderstorms will continue
to spread east into the central and eastern Dakotas. Overnight
lows will range from mid 40s over parts of southern Saskatchewan
to the lower 60s over southeastern South Dakota and southern
Minnesota.

Tuesday afternoon, showers and storms will continue pushing east
into Minnesota. Expect cooler high temperatures for the rest of
the work week.
